(1) It is easy to determine vertical asymptotic lines. Consider
, then x = t0 is the vertical asymptotic line.
(2)I'll give you a hint on this one :
consider 0≦ t ≦π/2.
Now it can be shown that sin(t) ≦ t ≦ tan(t) (think about why this is true; a geometric viewpoint may help)
Then work the inequality to fit your need and use squeeze theorem. :)
