給定p 使得 a<p<b
則對於任意在(a,b)不等於p的值 x
由MVT定理可知
[f(x)-f(p)]/(x-p) =f'(c) , 在此 c 是介於p,x之間的數
則
[f(x)-f(p)]/(x-p) =0
則
f(x)-f(p)=0
則
f(x)=f(p)
所以
f(x)在 (a,b)是常數函數
