小學三年級的數學都有難題? 真奇! 其難在英文題目的解釋喔.
原文如下:
I am a number greater than 99 and less than 1,000. Two of my digits that aren't next to each other are the same. My tens digit could not be greater and it is one more than my hundreds digit. What number am I?
簡劣的解譯為:
我是一個數目大於99及少於1,000. 我有兩個雙同的單位數字不是鄰靠近的. 我的十單位不能大於同時它是對比百的單位多於一, 請問我是一個甚麽的數目呢?
以上的題目以英文解釋為準, 這是我小學三年級小女的功課啊? 一時考起我, 而我想出的答案都甚難解釋給我的小女...
考考大家有沒有一個好的解釋給一個小學三年級的小孩吧, 多謝.

把以上句子分開寫即為:

My tens digit could not be greater than my hundreds digit.
我的十單位不能大於百的單位
My tens digit could be one more than my hundreds digit.
我的十單位是對比百的單位多於一

既因為 "我的十單位不能大於百的單位" 故此所有的 121, 232, 343, 454, 565, 676, 787, 898 都是不合符問題的規限, 而且答案袛有一個3位的數字.

如果此問題如同被megoeastern修改後的:
我是一個大於99且少於1,000的數. 其中兩個位數相同但不相鄰,我的十位數最大而且比百位數多1, 請問我是多少?
這麼一來,答案就明顯了
那就不是難題了

在問題中未曾題及如megoeastern所說的 "我的十位數最大" 或 "My tens digit is the greatest"

或
"My tens digit could be one more than my hundreds digit."

一句 "大到不能再大" 亦是一個重點提示, 因為這個答案的第十位真的是大到不能再大, 故此我無法解釋給我小學三年級的女兒為何這唯一的一個三位數字的答案是正確的. 無奈, 我的小女亦衹有無奈的抄下我的答案吧了.

當時就讀着高中的兩位兒女分別計出的答案與我一樣, 其答案都是...
