8x95-7x94+6x93-5x92+4x91-3x90+2x89-x88+...+8x7-7x6+6x5-5x4+4x3-3x2+2x-1
=(8x7-7x6+6x5-5x4+4x3-3x2+2x-1)(1+x8+x16+x24+...+x88)
But for all real x:
x8,x16,x24,...,x88≧0
So, 1+x8+x16+x24+...+x88=0 does not have real roots
8x7-7x6+6x5-5x4+4x3-3x2+2x-1=0
利用牛頓定理,如果q/p是8x7-7x6+6x5-5x4+4x3-3x2+2x-1=0的根,那麼p|8, q|-1
因此q/p=1,-1,1/2,-1/2,1/4,-1/4,1/8,-1/8
但一一測試,均不符合
因此8x7-7x6+6x5-5x4+4x3-3x2+2x-1=0無有理數解
=(8x7-7x6+6x5-5x4+4x3-3x2+2x-1)(1+x8+x16+x24+...+x88)
